Welcome to our blog, All Can Prophesy, if you are looking for a blog that demystifies the mysteries of prophecy you have come to the right place. We believe that prophecy is for everyone and that all can prophesy no matter their theological belief, background, culture, or history. The premise of prophecy is twofold, the ability to hear God's voice and then to release it in some manner or form. And I believe we can all walk in that reality with skill and maturity, just like any other endeavor we pursue in life. Hopefully, some of these stories in this blog will help break any sort of lies, intimidation, or fear regarding prophecy.
The Outpouring of the Spirit
In this post, I would like to dive into the topic of how to daily walk in the prophetic anointing that God is pouring out in these last days, actually since the day of Pentecost, which took place two thousand years ago. As we look in the Bible in Acts 2, during the outpouring of the Holy Spirit on the day of Pentecost, the Apostle Peter, stands up to prophetically announce the fulfillment of the old testament prophet, Joel, and his prophecy Acts 2:16-18. We see that the Holy Spirit has already been poured out onto all flesh. In Acts 2, Peter's proclamation shows us that the Holy Spirit is continuously being poured out since the day of Pentecost. Which is still happening right now this moment. Right now wherever you are reading this blog, there is an outpouring of the Holy Spirit longing to bring you into an encounter and empowerment, which consists of all the supernatural gifts mentioned in 1 Corinthians 12. So if right now the person of the Holy Spirit is already being continuously poured out, all we need to do is come under that anointing and receive it. But you may ask but how do I receive it? It is the same way you received salvation. Romans 10:9 says, “that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.” In the same way, we received and activated salvation was to vocally confessing what we believe in our hearts. I find that it is exactly the same with the things regarding the Spirit, spiritual gifts, fruits of the Spirit, biblical promises, etc. When we vocally agree with what we believe it becomes ours and into our lives. If you have never received the Holy Spirit or the gifts of the Spirit into your life, then let’s confess together right now. “Holy Spirit, I receive you into my life right now. I receive the gift of prophecy, the gift of words of knowledge, the gift of words of wisdom, and the gift of discernment. In Jesus’ name, Amen!” Now I want you to say and agree with the word of God, “ I got it.”
Our Values
Now that we received and activated the Holy Spirit and His gifts into our lives we need to put them to practice. Just like when you are learning a new language or skill, if you don’t practice then you won’t ever grow in proficiency in the language or skill. We must also learn to take greater and greater risks when we are practicing to hear God’s voice for others. Without increased risk-taking, you will never be able to grow and learn. Allow risk to become your new friend, and if you get it wrong it's okay, just apologize and move on from that mistake. Don’t allow the mistake or failure to paralyze you from continuing to pursue God’s voice. There have even been times when I apologized for a word because someone shared that the prophetic word I gave them was off. I don’t mind apologizing, I put the relationship bigger than getting it wrong. The beauty of this interaction was that God still showed up, touched, and ministered to the person deeply. Prophecy is not about us, we are just merely messengers of God’s heart and love to the world around us. When we lose sight of that we get into trouble because we make it about us, when it was always meant to be about Jesus! At ACP we believe in the importance of receiving feedback when we prophesy. No matter how long you’ve been prophesying it’s good to always create space for people to give you feedback for your prophetic words. It doesn’t matter if you’ve been prophesying for decades or become famous, as human beings we are fallible to make mistakes, but it's okay as long as we carry a heart of meekness and humility.
Prophetic Voices Arising!
I believe that God is raising integrous, radical, powerful prophetic voices in this hour that carry the likeness of Jesus wherever they go. I believe we will see a world where all can hear God's voice and learn to prophesy with power and maturity! I believe that God has a desire to raise communities of prophets in every region and city. May we respond to God’s call and grow in our ability to hear His voice for the world around us! The world is desperately crying out for the solutions of heaven, but they just don’t know it yet. All of creation is groaning for the manifestations of the mature sons of God Romans 8:22. May we become God’s agents and solutionists to the problems and impossibilities this world is facing!
